Full Form of JEE

JEE, or Joint Entrance Examination, is the premier engineering entrance examination in India. It is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). JEE is a two-phase exam, with the first phase being an offline exam and the second phase being an online exam.

JEE was first conducted in 2003 as a single-stage test that determined eligibility for admission to engineering colleges all over India. This was replaced by two stages in 2013, with the first stage being JEE Main and the second stage being JEE Advanced. The change was made to make it easier for students from rural areas and those who do not have access to quality coaching to get into top engineering colleges.

The objective of JEE is to test the candidate’s aptitude for engineering and assess their understanding of basic science and mathematics concepts. The syllabus for this exam covers topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Aptitude. The examination pattern includes multiple-choice questions as well as numerical answer type questions.
